Role Overview: As a Senior Field Services Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless installation, configuration, maintenance, and servicing of communications systems, servers, workstations, and related electronic equipment. This position blends remote troubleshooting with hands-on, on-site technical support to maintain and enhance client systems. What You'll Do: - You will install and configure communications systems and related hardware at client sites. - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on servers, workstations, and electronic equipment. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site. - You will collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide expert guidance. - You will document service activities, configurations, and repairs accurately. - You will ensure compliance with company and industry standards for safety and quality. - You will support the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades. - You will mentor junior technicians and share best practices within the team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in field services support or a related technical role. - Strong knowledge of communications systems, servers, and workstation hardware. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and network equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar. - Experience with VoIP systems and network infrastructure. - Familiarity with remote support tools and software. - Previous experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
