Role Overview: As a Senior Field Services Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless installation, configuration, maintenance, and servicing of communications systems, servers, workstations, and related electronic equipment. This position blends remote troubleshooting with hands-on on-site support, requiring technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. What You'll Do: - You will install and configure communications systems and related electronic equipment at client sites. - You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on servers, workstations, and communication devices. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site to minimize downtime. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction. - You will document service activities, configurations, and technical issues accurately. - You will provide training and support to clients on system usage and best practices. - You will maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary for field service operations. - You will adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all service activities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years experience in field services support or a related technical role. - Strong knowledge of communications systems, servers, and workstation hardware. - Proficiency in troubleshooting network and electronic equipment issues. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Effective communication and customer service skills. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar. - Experience with VoIP systems and unified communications platforms. - Familiarity with remote support tools and software. - Background in training or mentoring junior technicians.
