About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven Marketing Automation Manager with deep experience in HubSpot to manage, optimize, and scale our email marketing and marketing automation programs. You’ll own the setup, execution, testing, and reporting of automated workflows, nurture campaigns, and triggered communications — ensuring a seamless, personalized experience for prospects and customers across the funnel. This is a hands-on role with significant growth potential. The right candidate is passionate about using technology and data to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue. What You'll Do And The Impact You'll Make Build and maintain automated workflows, nurture sequences, triggered and “next best action” campaigns in HubSpot. Create, QA, and deploy marketing and lifecycle programs (acquisition, activation, onboarding, growth, reactivation). Leverage AI-powered tools (predictive lead scoring, send-time optimization, subject line generation) to continuously improve performance. Plan and execute A/B tests across the customer journey to drive performance and conversion. Manage segmentation, data integrations and personalization to deliver relevant, timely communications. Monitor and maintain database health, including data hygiene, lead scoring, and opt-out compliance. Use HubSpot analytics and AI insights to make recommendations and iterate on campaigns. Continuously optimize personalized journeys to improve activation, growth, and retention. Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations. Serve as the org’s marketing automation expert, driving best practices and scaling automation as we grow. Required Experience 5+ years of experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub (or similar MAP). HTML/CSS for email editing required. Strong understanding of email marketing, marketing automation, lead nurture, and “next best action” strategies. Experience with segmentation, scripting languages, data types, logic constructs, data integrations, personalization, and lead scoring. Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and data hygiene best practices. Strong analytics skills with the ability to translate data into insights. Excellent attention to detail, project management, and QA skills. Nice to have Experience working with an early-stage series A start-up company.
