Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist at GBG, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced data models and analytics solutions that drive business decisions and enhance digital identity verification processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to harness data insights that ensure security and authenticity in digital interactions. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to improve identity verification and fraud detection. - You will analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights that support business strategies. - You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into scalable applications. - You will lead data-driven projects from conception through implementation and evaluation. - You will mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a data-driven culture. - You will stay current with the latest advancements in data science and apply them to GBG’s technology. - You will communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in identity verification, fraud detection, or related fields. - You possess strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. - You have expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools. - You are proficient in SQL and working with large-scale data processing technologies. - You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark. - Knowledge of digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance regulations. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
