POSITION SUMMARY: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction and market share in their region (UTAH/ARIZONA). SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Works under the direction of the Regional Sales Director for the assigned territory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for sales revenues within an assigned region • Maintaining existing business, presenting new products and cultivating new business • Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers • Calling on all medical education and training facilities within assigned territory • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships • Preparing bid, price quotes and necessary reports • Occasional convention and user group meeting participation • Responsible for territory forecasting, tracking, and sales funnel development • Work with management to develop annual business plans for assigned region • Provide training for customers on products • Other duties/project as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business preferred. • 3-6 years sales experience preferred; simulation, nursing paramedic or education training is mandatory. • Understanding the sales cycle in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device or heathcare education markets is preferred. • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal • Talent for building long-term relationships • Ability to travel 50%, including evenings and weekends • Excellent organizational skills WHAT YOU'LL GET WHEN YOU JOIN THE GAUMARD FAMILY: • Competitive Pay • Full health benefits (medical, vision, dental) • Paid Time Off (PTO) • 11 Paid Holidays • Retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 5% of employee's contribution • Satisfaction knowing that you have joined a long-standing company The above job description supersedes all previous descriptions.
