Our Company Gateway Pediatric Therapy Overview Responsible for facilitating training and development of all new and current Behavior Technicians. Responsible for facilitating training and development for all new and current Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)s, including scheduling competency assessments with BCBA assessor and RBT candidate. This can include but is not limited to the essential job responsibilities listed below. Responsibilities • Oversees initial and ongoing training and development for Behavior Technicians across the Company. • Implement training policies and procedures for all new clinical staff hires. • Coordinate with Behavior Technicians, Lead Trainers, and Direct Trainers to assist in Behavior Technicians demonstration of the Registered Behavior Technician Standards set forth by the BACB. • Review relevant research materials to ensure practices are in line with best practices of the field. • Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings as instructed by the Clinical Training Manager or Assistant Clinical Director of Clinical Training.• Attend weekly team meetings with Lead Trainers to monitor ongoing progress of new direct care staff hires and plan scheduling for the forthcoming week. • Maintain close communication with Human Resources and Development Department regarding information of new hires’ needs and demonstration of actions associated with the hired position, specifically to facilitate termination of employment in the event of new hire performance issues.• Coordinate with Clinical Directors and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in the development of instructional materials.• Coordinate with Supervising BCBA of Clinical Training and Clinical Training Manager to develop supplemental training materials for new and current Behavior Technicians.• Coordinate with Supervising BCBA of Clinical Training for review and revision of training documents. • Communicate in a professional and positive manner with coworkers and parents.• Oversee and coordinate Practicum Program assistance across clinic locations to support training team.• Assist in monitoring quality control of Direct Trainers and provide disciplinary feedback when necessary (i.e. follow up/feedback forms completed in a timely manner and professionalism concerns addressed)• Directly supervises and manages the Lead Trainers in implementation of training initiatives.• Exercises independent discretion and problem-solving related to providing in-the-moment disciplinary action to new hires for performance concerns.• Respond to all internal communication (e-mail, phone call, etc.) within 24 hours.• Reports directly to the Assistant Clinical Director of Clinical Training.• Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and with Gateway policies and procedures manual.• Proctor and facilitate office hours as necessary for new hire training.
