Position Overview An Investor Relations Analyst at Gateway Group helps drive success in the capital markets by working closely with clients, investors, and senior executives to develop and deliver financial-oriented communications. The Analyst will collaborate with a team to support an expanding portfolio of micro- and small-cap publicly traded clients, providing proactive, high-touch investor relations services. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of the capital markets and strong writing skills, with the ability to produce timely, financially focused materials such as press releases, earnings scripts, research summaries, and investor marketing content. This role requires a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. The candidate must be able to lead client calls with C-suite executives in Mandarin. Along with these core capabilities, the ideal candidate is well organized, highly reliable, detail-oriented, and brings a positive, outgoing attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset. This is an entry-level position offering meaningful exposure to the capital markets, including both the buy-side and sell-side. Successful Analysts will have opportunities to grow within the firm, establish their own client coverage, or pursue broader careers across investor relations and capital markets-related fields. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Newport Beach, CA. Responsibilities • Draft, edit, and refine press releases, earnings scripts, corporate profiles, storyboards, and other financial communications materials • Lead or co-lead client calls, confidently engaging with C-suite executives in Mandarin • Support the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual financial reporting, earnings releases, earnings calls, and other material company disclosures • Research and prepare reports on client shareholder bases, analyst consensus estimates, quarterly IR activity, roadshow and conference schedules, and corporate presentation materials • Monitor financial news and prepare daily or weekly market and company briefings for internal and client use • Create PowerPoint presentations and pitch books by researching and compiling relevant company, peer, and industry data • Review sell-side analyst research and provide concise summaries and key takeaways to clients • Assist in developing and maintaining financial communications strategies and IR plans for clients • Support investor targeting, outreach, and relationship-building efforts on behalf of both Gateway Group and its clients • Proactively assist with investor roadshow and conference outreach and scheduling • Maintain flexibility to work effectively across Pacific, Eastern, and Asia time zones • Support administrative and operational tasks as needed, including template development, data entry, correspondence, and recurring workflow support Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field • Business-fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) • Interest or experience working with clients across diverse industries, including technology, consumer, finance, business services, and industrials • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment across multiple functions, seniority levels, and locations • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organization and attention to detail • ·Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information • Prior client-facing, customer service, or professional services experience • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines through effective prioritization and planning • Strong Windows-based PC skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms is a plus Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience) If you meet the qualifications above, please submit a cover letter and resume to Steven Shinmachi (steven@gateway-grp.com).
