Position Summary: Gasworks Media is on the lookout for a dedicated SEO Content Specialist, skilled in content publishing and optimization for our diverse range of clients' websites. This role demands a blend of creativity and analytical skills to develop, publish, and optimize content that enhances customer acquisition and organic visibility across brick and mortar business websites at a national level. Organizational Relationships: The Content Specialist will interact and collaborate frequently with the content team and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to content strategies. Job Responsibilities: • Develop, optimize, and publish compelling content that aligns with client objectives and Content best practices. • Analyze and enhance web content in collaboration with creative and development teams. • Implement and maintain quality standards, process improvements, and cost-efficiency methodologies. • Create and optimize website content, including strategic keyword placement, to improve organic performance and user engagement. • Regularly update website content, focusing on keywords, meta tags, and editorial quality to achieve targeted organic search rankings. • Operate effectively in a remote environment, leveraging collaboration tools and maintaining self-motivation and detail orientation. Minimum Qualifications: • 2-4 years of Content and content development experience. • Proficiency in Slack/Discord, Trello/Jira/Airtable, Google Apps Suite. • Demonstrated ability to work remotely and meet deadlines. • Creativity, marketing experience, and strong technical skills. • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
