I’ve been with State Farm for over 40 years, beginning my career in claims before moving into agency. It truly runs in the family—my son works with me, my daughter is a State Farm agent an hour away, and even my brother is an agent. Outside the office, I’ve spent more than 20 years officiating ACC football, which has taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure. I stay very involved in the community through local schools, our church, and several annual initiatives. Every year, we host a community blood drive, sponsor the Athlete of the Year award, and support Food for the Soul during the holidays. ROLE DESCRIPTION: As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Gary Patterson - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information. • Assist customers with policy changes and updates. • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions. QUALIFICATIONS: • Communication and interpersonal skills. • Detail-oriented and able to multitask. • Previous customer service experience preferred.
