Create and advise on Gartner research related to AI in sales, support sales efforts, provide actionable insights to clients, and collaborate on innovative research.
12+ years in sales strategy/operations with AI strategy ownership, experience selecting and implementing AI technologies in B2B sales, strong communication and critical reasoning skills, and ability to travel occasionally.
Description: • Create and advise on a portfolio of Gartner research and communicate it to clients • Support sales in new sales and client retention by demonstrating expert knowledge • Provide insight, predictions and actionable advice to clients around AI and sales technology and operations • Help B2B Chief Sales Officers and sales leaders develop AI strategies, select and evaluate AI technologies, and implement and scale AI • Detect emerging next practices and trends in the AI field of research • Craft appropriate research methods to address critical client questions • Create and deliver high-value presentations based on research • Collaborate and conduct research to produce innovative, thought-leading research analysis • Assist commercial organization in engaging clients and prospects • Provide high-quality and timely research peer review • Lead or participate in research community meetings to discuss research issues and collaborate with peers • Conduct occasional regional and global travel as required Requirements: • 12+ years of experience in sales strategy, operations and/or technology, with ownership of AI strategy and implementation • Developed an AI strategy or key decisions for a B2B sales organization • Experience in evaluating and selecting AI-driven technology for B2B sales organizations • Demonstrated ability to determine the best AI use cases to pursue in support of sales strategy • Implementation of AI technology within a sales organization or product • Oversight of or familiarity with intelligent, "agentic" AI systems that can make decisions, adapt, and perform autonomous tasks • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • Strong business acumen • Strong critical reasoning skills and problem diagnosis • Stellar writing and verbal communication skills • Experience presenting to clients at events and conferences, performing workshops and briefings • Impeccable time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities independently • Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally Benefits: • annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan • generous PTO • 401k match up to $7,200 per year • opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount • world-class benefits and highly competitive compensation • flexible/hybrid work environment (working virtually when it's productive and getting together with colleagues) • market leading benefit programs • opportunity to grow professionally and flourish personally
