We are looking for a founding engineer to join our team of NYC-based team of 6. Gander is building an AI-First operating system for private aviation operators and leading aerospace OEMs. Filling this role with the right person will be absolutely critical to the success of our company; as such, you can expect significant equity and product ownership. Technologies: We use Next.js, React, Vercel, and Supabase extensively. Job Responsibilities: Create great software. Take product requirements and turn them into beautiful, reliable, and high quality software, multiplying your impact with code-gen tools. Lead product development. Lead end-to-end technical execution and have full ownership of the software development lifecycle. Design system architecture. Design and implement the architecture and tech stack that will serve as the backbone for our platform. Balance scalability, speed, and reliability. Key Requirements: End-to-end. Has experience building all parts of software, from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment. Adaptable. Can quickly and iteratively respond to the needs of customers, turning product changes around on tight timelines. AI-first. Has a strong understanding of how to implement AI systems into SaaS products and is eager to build AI agents. Experience. 2+ Years of Work Experience or equivalent in projects.
