Description: GameStop is looking for an energetic and reliable Lead Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will act as a keyholder, helping to drive store success by merging your passion for gaming with a commitment to top-tier customer service. You’ll be a vital part of our "Circle of Life" business model, assisting guests with trades, reservations, and new purchases. As a leader on the floor, you will help supervise store activities, ensure the shop looks its best, and mentor fellow associates to create an environment where every gamer feels at home. Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age with legal authorization to work in the U.S. • High school diploma or an equivalent level of education. • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a supervisory role (1+ years preferred). • Familiarity with current video game consoles, titles, and industry trends is a plus. • Physical ability to remain on your feet for shifts up to 10 hours and lift up to 30 lbs. • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle basic math and POS system operations. • Flexible availability, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: • Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, providing expert product recommendations and explaining the benefits of the Pro Rewards program. • Oversee daily store operations and delegate tasks to the sales team when management is off-site. • Manage financial transactions, including counting registers, balancing daily deposits, and ensuring all closing paperwork is accurate. • Maintain store aesthetics by organizing shelves, alphabetizing stock, and ensuring the sales floor meets company merchandising standards. • Execute "Omni-Channel" tasks, processing online orders for shipment or in-store pickup. • Protect company inventory by following loss prevention protocols and conducting regular stock counts. • Handle incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and reporting any discrepancies. • Open and close the store following established security and operational procedures. • Foster a positive shopping culture by prioritizing guest needs over administrative tasks.
