Role Title: Sales Representative/Fundraising Manager (Temporary Contract) Role Description: Gamers Outreach is seeking a proactive, can-do individual to join our crew as a Sales Representative/Fundraising Manager. This person will work directly with our Development team to foster relationships with fundraising volunteers and support new fundraising activities. The ideal candidate is an optimistic and communicative individual with a sales or fundraising background and has familiarity of the livestreaming/content creation community as well as knowledge of broadcast platforms and software. This is a temporary 8-10 week contract work position with a variable of 20-40 hours per week starting immediately, depending on the contract. Responsibilities: • Proactively seek out new fundraising volunteers on multiple platforms that align with the Gamers Outreach mission and invite them to participate directly in fundraising efforts and events. • Field direct communications with the volunteers and/or their respective management pre-event, during the event, and post-event. • Send out assigned event communication updates to volunteers interested and/or participating in the event. • Assist volunteers with technical setup as it relates to successful participation in fundraising events such as Tiltify charity tools and other necessary items for charity streams. • Assist in providing event analytics and summary information from fundraisers and highlights from the event after the event concludes. • Meet event-specific performance metrics for the duration of the contract. Must-Haves • Minimum of 1 year of proven sales or fundraising experience with demonstrated success in prospecting, cold outreach, and recruitment/successful fundraising. • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to work well across our internal team, as well as with external partners. • Demonstrated knowledge of the content creator ecosystem and broad awareness of online gaming communities. • Deep knowledge of streaming software, alert and tipping systems, as well as streaming platforms. • The ideal candidate is a video game enthusiast with a passion for making a difference in the world. This person believes in the cause of Gamers Outreach. • Comfortable/capable of performing duties within a WFH environment. • Strong understanding of technology and software pertinent to the role. Nice-to-haves • Experience as a content creator. • Established relationships with content creator(s). • Experience with Google Sheets. • Experience providing remote technical support.
