Full Description

About GameChanger: We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence – important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports. So if you love sports and their community building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today. The Position: We are looking for an Executive Assistant on a contract basis to provide support to executives across multiple needs, including calendar organization, meeting preparation, and more. You will report to and support our Chief People Officer, though there is opportunity to support other executives. We're looking for someone who is collaborative and can coordinate across teams. You will be onsite up to 5 days a week in our NYC HQ. What You'll Do: Calendar Management • Manage complex executive calendars to ensure alignment across competing priorities. • Schedule one-on-ones, team meetings, and leadership meetings. • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them to minimize disruptions. Meeting & Event Coordination • Organize small team meetings (agendas, invites, logistics, and materials). • Support larger team meetings, off-sites, or department-wide town halls by handling logistics (virtual meeting invite, venue, catering, tech setup, A/V coordination if in-person). Prepare Materials • Help prepare presentations, agendas, and briefing documents for executives. • Organize pre-read materials and track and follow up on action items post-meeting. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Be a liaison across departments, ensuring communication flows smoothly between teams. • Partner with key stakeholders to agree on priorities. • Build relationships with internal and external contacts to facilitate collaboration. General Executive Support • Provide reliable, responsive administrative assistance to senior leaders. • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. • Ensure executives are well-prepared for daily commitments. Who You Are: • You have stellar customer service skills as we ensure our customers (fellow employees) have everything they need to be successful. • You are excited to amplify our culture within our space. • You have demonstrated experience with problem solving and troubleshooting. • You are someone who has a strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills. • You can work effectively in a team environment. • You can operate with a high degree of discretion, follow-through, customer service orientation, and ability to work with all levels of management. • Prior experience in an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or Assistant to Chief of Staff role is strongly preferred. The target hourly range for this six-month contract position is between $30 and $45 an hour. • DICK'S Sporting Goods has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities. Due to said guidelines put in place, we are unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
