We are currently seeking a Service Specialist for our service center that thrives in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational, customer service and phone skills. As a Service Specialist, you will assist client employees with enrollment and benefit questions. This is a hybrid position, based out of the Holly Springs, NC office. How You'll Make An Impact • Answers telephone calls from client employees regarding employee benefits • Responds to requests for information • Assists client employees with benefits enrollment process • Inputs data into client management system • Assist clients and employees with payroll discrepancies, billing questions, claim assistance, new hires, and QLE/MYE transactions • Respond accurately and promptly to inquiries regarding claims, benefits, and eligibility • Thoroughly and accurately document communication and correspondence in ticketing system • Maintain HIPAA compliance • Following company procedures concerning all essential duties and responsibilities • Other duties as assigned About You Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months experience as a Customer Advocate. Current Life, Accident & Health Resident State Insurance License or ability to successfully obtain license within 45 days of hire date. Ability to work overtime as business need requires. Preferred: Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum 3 years related experience preferred. Prior customer service and/or employee benefits experience highly desirable. Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is beneficial. Bi-lingual candidates desired. Behaviors: Adheres to HIPAA Privacy Rules by maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and complying with all applicable laws. Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical, to client members/customers in a clear and concise manner. Ability to empathize and show patience. Good problem solving skills. Compensation And Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
