Overview Senior Account Managers provide service to and manage the largest and most complex accounts. They are responsible for strategizing with Producers and Account Executives, managing a smooth insurance placement process from start to finish, staying current with the latest market changes and trends, as well as providing technical support and expertise to clients. How you'll make an impact What You’ll Do Develop and cultivate long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients Support relationship management efforts of Account Executives and Client Relationship Directors Analyze carrier quotes and coverage offerings and negotiate terms with carriers to provide the best recommendations to clients Work side by side with AE to proactively manage clients’ insurance needs; included but not limited to – contract review, marketing, new and renewal proposals and client presentations Handle complex and detailed issues in a clear, efficient and effective manner; take responsibility for problem solving to conclusion Demonstrate strong expertise in presentations to clients; assure thoroughness, accuracy and ability to answer questions or concerns through well-developed communication skills Field daily client questions and delegate administrative tasks to assigned Account Coordinators and Representatives Develop specifications, securing underwriting information, analyzing existing coverages and making coverage comparisons Deliver client service in the absence of an Account Executive Support execution of client account strategy Manage contract reviews and effectively explain and clarify details with client verbally and/or in writing This job is for you if… You have a diligent understanding of business insight and development You have a motivating, inspiring, and positive demeanor towards achieving goals You love establishing relationships. About You 7+ years of related Construction insurance brokerage experience Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and EPIC College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Broker’s license required to be obtained during onboarding period Required to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of date of hire Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required Previous supervisory, training and/or formal mentoring experience desirable Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
