Full Description

Location: Troy, Michigan | Employee Type: Full-time We are looking for an individual who is interested in learning and willing to travel as part of project assignments. This position offers opportunities for professional development within the company. Previous experience with construction projects, industrial systems, or greenfield facility projects. Reporting to the construction operations manager, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with project teams and assist in supporting project execution from planning through to completion. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate resources and ensure timely project delivery • Maintain accurate project documentation and organize meetings, including agendas and minutes • Communicate updates to team members, clients, and stakeholders • Assist in resolving issues and managing risks to keep projects on track • Manage project databases and budgets, ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance construction processes Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities • Coordination of cross-functional teams and resources • Coordination of schedule, scope, and budget • Strong organizational and customer service skills • Understanding of construction processes, safety, and project management principles • Proficiency in construction management and project management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite • Attention to detail and accurate documentation • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment • Effective time management and multitasking skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred Experience: • 2-5 years in construction and industrial systems • Experience with paint shop operations and equipment replacement is a plus • Estimating, quoting, and budgeting for large-scale projects (up to $100 million) • Contract coordination and warranty resolution • Automotive industry expertise Mobility The role will start in Silao, Mexico, and relocate to Arlington, Texas - or another location as required once the project ends.
