Overview Job Summary The Account Manager is responsible for account support at the direction of senior team members. The Account Manager provides customer service by handling the day-to-day operations of clients' insurance need and works with various team members to deliver proper insurance and risk management services for clients. How you'll make an impact Essential Duties and Responsibilities Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office. Client Support • Maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care. • Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships. Account Management • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Follows company procedures to achieve positive audit results. • Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies. • Reviews all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner. • Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s retention strategies. • Secures documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders. Insurance Expertise • Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier. • Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge. About You Qualifications • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred • Property and Casualty License • Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry • Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction • Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
