Summary The Health Plan Solutions (HPS) Account Manager II is responsible for the management of at least one account or significant project. Responsible for managing the client contract, relationship management, and ensuring that HMS operations perform according to contractual commitments. The Account Manager is also responsible for revenue generating activities and upselling new services to existing clients to achieve contract and corporate financial goals. Your role in our mission Prepares, monitors, and manages budget and revenue expectations for assigned client(s). Works with client(s) to develop project approach and implementation plans. Oversees development and implementation. Reports to management on progress toward strategic account growth and business goals. Communicates/interfaces regularly with client(s). Directs HMS contract operations to ensure successful delivery of services to client(s). Identifies and continually seeks new sources of revenue. Builds relationships with internal and external staff to ensure client expectations are being met or exceeded. Manages client relationship; responsible for ensuring client satisfaction. Identifies sales opportunities and assists the account management team with successful close of sale (including proposal development process). Monitors state legislative, regulatory, and competitive environment and alerts management to risks and opportunities. May oversee additional account management staff (i.e. Account Mgr I). Supports collaboration between account management team, internal departments and operations staff. What we're looking for Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and follow up skills, to negotiate, collaborate, and manage expectations, resolve problems, and develop opportunities with clients. Bachelor's degree Three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience with experience in one of the following areas preferred: Health insurance Client service/business to business Healthcare policy Industry with high level of compliance (i.e. Finance) Ability to manage projects. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL or Micro Strategies preferred. What you should expect in this role This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position. Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week). New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date. Company provided computer for work use. For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload. Greater speeds will of course provide better performance. Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.
