Our client is searching for a visionary Senior Director of HR Technology & Automation to drive the evolution of their entire HR ecosystem. This isn't just a leadership role; it's an opportunity to be the architect of change, building a cutting-edge, data-driven HR function from the ground up. $170,000-$220,000 (depending on experience) plus comprehensive benefits. 100% remote! What You'll Do: Drive Transformative Change As the Senior Director, you'll be the pivotal force behind all HR technology and payroll operations. You'll lead a team of experts, overseeing everything from system optimization and integration to pioneering new solutions. Your core mission will be to champion innovation, transforming workflows and delivering an exceptional employee experience. Here's how you'll make an impact: • Pioneer HR Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-thinking roadmap that elevates the employee experience and aligns with critical business objectives. You'll manage and enhance their entire suite of HR systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. • Optimize Payroll & Operations: Direct all payroll operations, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and strict regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless and reliable payroll delivery. • Lead Innovation & Automation: Spearhead the adoption of AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA) to modernize HR and payroll workflows. You'll redesign processes, eliminate administrative burdens, and leverage data analytics to drive continuous improvement. • Cultivate High-Performing Teams: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of HR technology and payroll professionals. You'll forge strong partnerships across the organization, inspiring technology adoption and operational transformation. What You'll Bring: Your Expertise We're looking for a seasoned leader with a proven track record of driving significant change. • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, payroll operations, or systems leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. • Demonstrated success leading large-scale automation and technology transformation initiatives within HR or payroll functions. • Deep expertise in payroll operations, tax compliance, and modern HR processes. • Extensive experience managing and integrating enterprise HR systems across multiple functions. • A strong history of leading and developing teams, managing complex projects, and delivering measurable results. • Workday experience is required, ideally with past experience leading an implementation and becoming a subject matter expert.
