The Garage Part Shop Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of salaried bargaining and non-bargaining work teams in completing vehicle retrofits, builds, and/or part fabrication. This role directly supports daily production. The supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting problems as they arise and allocating resources and manpower accordingly to resolve issues without impact to shop throughput performance. Responsible for Manpower Management and Leads Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives for the shop and provide regular status to leadership. Requirements: ***100% Onsite*** MUST HAVE: Warehouse Supervision experience • Minimum 5 years of automotive experience • High School Diploma required. • Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application. • Ability to direct the workforce and deliver results. • Experience in resolving employee conflicts with professionalism and integrity. • Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on production control.
