We’re looking for a Medical Billing Specialist with full revenue cycle experience to help our patients continue their journey to better health — and we want you on our team! Location Requirement: This is a remote position, but you must reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, NC, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, UT, WA What You’ll Do (Full Revenue Cycle Billing): Manage end-to-end billing processes: charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, and collections Process insurance claims (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and multi-state payers) Conduct payer follow-up to resolve outstanding claims and ensure timely reimbursements Handle denial management, appeals, and pre-authorizations Post payments, reconcile accounts, and identify billing discrepancies Take patient calls and assist with balance-related questions Collaborate with providers, front desk, and internal teams to maintain billing accuracy Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and CMS regulations What You Bring: 12–24+ months of recent full revenue cycle medical billing experience (required) Strong knowledge of insurance billing, payer rules, and medical terminology Experience with EMR systems and clearinghouses (Athena, eClinicalWorks, Waystar, Change Healthcare, etc. a plus) Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding for billing purposes Strong communication skills for working with patients and payers Comfortable with Excel, multitasking, and high-volume claims work What You’ll Love About FYZICAL: Competitive pay $17–$19/hour (based on experience) Industry-leading health insurance 100% Paid Dental, Vision, Life, and LTD 401(k) with company match 120 Hours PTO annually + 6 paid holidays Supportive team and amazing leadership Company-provided computer • Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-time | 40 hrs/week Why FYZICAL?
