Job Title: Technical Support Engineer - 2nd Shift Company Overview: Futurex is a leading provider of innovative cybersecurity solutions, dedicated to protecting sensitive data for businesses worldwide. With a strong commitment to technology and customer service, Futurex fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment at its Engineering Campus in Bulverde, Texas. Role Overview: As a Technical Support Engineer on the 2nd shift, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional technical assistance to our clients. You will troubleshoot complex issues, provide timely solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our support processes. What You'll Do: - You will provide expert technical support to customers during the 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am (CT). - You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to Futurex products. - You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems. - You will document support cases and solutions clearly and accurately in the ticketing system. - You will assist in developing and updating technical documentation and knowledge base articles. - You will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to after-hours support as needed. - You will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or a related IT role. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security technologies, and hardware troubleshooting. - Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team during the 2nd shift hours. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in cybersecurity or encryption technologies. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems. - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar. - Prior experience working in a hybrid work environment.
