Role: Sr. Project Manager Timekeeping Modernization (Workforce Software) Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Interview Mode: Video Total experience Level: 10+ Years Job Description: • The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in hands-on project management roles, preferably within large enterprise environments. • This is a senior-level project manager role with program-level coordination responsibilities, suited for candidates who are execution-focused with strong stakeholder and delivery leadership skills. Delivery & Project Execution Skills: • The role requires ownership of end-to-end delivery for workforce timekeeping modernization initiatives supporting client hourly workforce. • The Project Manager will plan, execute, and track delivery activities including scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, and change control. • Strong capability in developing detailed delivery plans, coordinating multiple workstreams, and managing parallel runs, system cutovers, and release schedules is essential. • Experience producing executive-level reporting, timelines, and status dashboards is required. Program Coordination & Governance Skills: • This position operates across multiple integrated teams and systems, requiring strong governance and coordination capabilities. • The individual will lead project status forums, manage cross-team and vendor dependencies, and ensure alignment between Workforce Software (WFS), HRIS, and Payroll platforms. • The role involves active participation in L1/L2/L3 governance, ownership of action items and decisions, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. Product & Backlog Management Skills: • The role includes product-oriented responsibilities such as contributing to solution definition, translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, and supporting product vision and roadmap discussions. • The Project Manager will own and prioritize backlogs, ensuring epics and sagas are decomposed into clear, testable user stories and tasks, and that delivery aligns with business outcomes. Agile & SDLC Expertise: • Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies is required. • The individual will lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release coordination, and retrospectives while ensuring delivery discipline and continuous improvement. • Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments is expected. Technical & Domain Knowledge: • Hands-on experience with workforce management or timekeeping platforms is required, with preference for WorkForce Software (WFS). • Knowledge of HRIS and Payroll system integrations, data migration, system configuration, and enterprise application delivery is important. • The role demands strong analytical skills to assess technical impacts, dependencies, and risks. Tools & Reporting Skills: • Advanced usage of Jira for backlog, sprint, and release management is mandatory. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel is required. • Experience with project financial tracking, budget oversight, and timeline reporting is expected.
