Manage function enquiries, provide quotations, convert leads to bookings, maintain client relationships, coordinate with venue teams, and ensure smooth event execution.
Experience in customer service, events, bookings or sales environment, strong communication and multitasking skills, proficiency with Mac and Google Suite, and preferably Salesforce experience.

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Sales & Events Manager to join the team in Austin, TX - people who are passionate about service, driven by fun, and ready to create unforgettable experiences. What You'll Do: • Take function enquiries (leads) via various channels for our Austin location and provide timely and accurate information for our guests; • Develop a thorough working knowledge of Funlab Event procedures and limitations; • Provide written quotations for custom events and packages; • Convert function enquiries into bookings using the sales toolkit, providing tailored packages where possible to suit guests needs; • Create opportunities to upsell and enhance the function booking and guest experience; • Develop and maintain great client relationships with 100% human interactions; • One team, one dream...Collaborate with team members to provide consistent experiences and interactions; • Liaise with colleagues, venue teams and additional stakeholders in regards to function bookings, changes, menus etc; • Prepare event orders / run sheets in accordance with release schedules, ensuring accurate and comprehensive details for smooth running of the event in venue; • Handle customer complaints and feedback and be comfortable with escalation processes; and • Champion Funlab’s Core Values in any and all interactions (with guests, internal and external stakeholders) Why Work With Us? • You get to be part of an innovative and people focused company! • We are growing and we’re growing fast, launching multiple venues each year • You'll be a part of a close knit, high performing team with a focus on culture and engagement • Development and growth opportunities • A competitive salary - not to mention work/life balance! • Free activities at all Funlab venues • And really...just because we're AWESOME!! What You've Got: • Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it! • Experience working in a customer service environment • Experience in an events, bookings and/or sales environment • Proven ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve quickly • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including competency in effectively communicating with different stakeholders • Exceptional attention to detail, prioritisation and time management skills • Confidence and proficient in using Mac and Google Suite • Experience with Salesforce would be considered advantageous • A burning desire to show what you've got and what heights you can take the business!
