Business Unit Overview: HoldMyTicket, a national leader in ticketing and event software based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a skilled and motivated Account Executive to drive new business and expand our client base across entertainment, music, sports, and event industries. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a collaborative, technology-driven environment and enjoys building meaningful client relationships. Job Summary: The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting client needs assessments, and delivering tailored solutions that showcase HoldMyTicket’s powerful suite of event management, ticketing, and analytics tools. The position requires strong communication, negotiation, and CRM management skills, with a proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets. Working remotely within a supportive and close-knit team, the Account Executive will represent HoldMyTicket at trade shows and industry events, maintain an active sales pipeline through Salesforce, and provide consistent reporting on progress and forecasts. Success in this role requires persistence, creativity, and a passion for helping clients achieve their event goals through innovative ticketing technology. Primary Responsibilities: Prospect, identify, and qualify potential clients within the ticketing industry. Pursue prospects gathered through marketing, trade show, cold calling. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ business objectives and pain points. Demonstrate solutions powered by HoldMyTicket that address client specific requirements and delivery maximum value. Negotiate pricing, signing bonus, terms and contracts to close deals in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Represent HoldMyTicket at industry trade shows to promote products as required. Utilize Salesforce CRM to track, build and monitor your sales plan and targets. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts. Skills & Competencies: Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close B2B sales opportunities in a competitive market. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs. Skilled in relationship building and account management, ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Proficient in using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipelines and track performance. Effective negotiation and contract management skills to drive profitable deals. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with strong time management and organizational abilities. Knowledge of the event or ticketing industry and a passion for live experiences is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: 3 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Proven track record of success in a hunter sales role, preferably in a B2B environment. Salesforce experience (preferred). The ability to showcase experience and strong sales skill set including; lead generation, cold calling, working with CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
