Job Description: • Lead development and execution of proactive Media Relations strategies • Partner with Investor Relations to elevate key insights for media opportunities • Primary point of contact for top-tier media inquiries • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and trade publications • Lead earned media activations • Collaborate with Government Affairs for strategic alignment • Provide strategic counsel on external engagements • Leverage data-driven insights to assess media strategies • Develop media-facing materials for clarity and accessibility • Deliver media training and coaching to Senior Leaders • Manage daily operations of media relations • Ensure corporate communication playbook is updated • Effectively manage budgeted resources Requirements: • 10+ years of demonstrated professional Communications experience • 5+ years of proven ability to lead Media Relations & Issues/Crisis programs • Experience in Life Sciences/healthcare highly preferred • Exceptional writing and editing skills • Strong knowledge of emerging trends • Deep understanding of media monitoring and social media listening tools • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Master of AP Style • Demonstrated capability to distill complex data into clear content • Comfort with fast-paced environments • Global corporate communications experience preferred • Media/Journalism experience in daily-deadline driven environment Benefits: • 401k with employer contribution • Medical • Dental • Vision • Wellness Incentive Program • Health Savings/Spending Account • Employee Assistance Program • Surrogacy & adoption assistance • Tuition reimbursement • Financial counseling • Sleep improvement program • Family planning support • Family care support resources
