Support and implement SaaS applications for clients, provide training, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Experience with hotel or golf course software, strong communication skills, basic web technologies knowledge, and troubleshooting skills.
Fuel Travel (fueltravel.com) is looking for a self-motivated software product support and implementation specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with customers to support and implement our SaaS applications which serve the hotel and golf industry. Example products: online booking engines, native Apps, guest messaging systems, channel managers, etc. The position is full time (40 hrs a week). The successful candidate can work remotely, or from our Myrtle Beach, SC office. • Do you enjoy helping people using technology? • Have been employed at a hotel or golf course that required you to be an expert user of operational or guest facing software (Property Management Systems, Club Management System, Channel Manager, Booking Engines, etc)? • Are you comfortable holding a product training session for a group of people? • Are you savvy with web technologies? If so, this role could be for you. A bachelor or associates degree is preferred but not a requirement. Requirements • Hotel or golf course software technology experience (or similar) • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in the English language, both oral and written • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Ability and willingness to communicate with customers one-on-one over the phone or video chat • Basic knowledge of web software technologies including HTML, CSS and APIs • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to install and support our online software products • Client training • General phone and email support (Zendesk) of our SaaS applications • Troubleshoot API (XML/JSON) communication and connections • Understand and perform basic editing of using HTML/CSS/Javascript • Maintain documentation including training videos, documentation, FAQ • Stay updated and educate yourself on industry trends and best practices What to expect • The role is split between traditional customer support and installation management • Fuel Travel is a small company (10 total employees). This role will be part of a team of 4 people. • Direct, verbal interaction with customers is a requirement. You must be comfortable working with people. • Fuel Travel offers 9+ products. This role will be trained to support all of these products over time NOTE: This is not an IT help desk position.
