Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, energetic and strategic Automotive Supplier Senior Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives and drive growth across diverse Automotive Manufacturing customers. Responsibilities • Develop and implement robust sales strategies aligned with company goals to maximize revenue growth and market share. • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse sales team across multiple Automotive OEMs, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key Automotive Manufactures, partners, and stakeholders through proactive account management and exceptional customer service. • Drive business development efforts by identifying new markets, new applications and opportunities for expansion through targeted marketing initiatives and strategic outreach. • Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, utilizing tools such as Salesforce for pipeline management and analysis. • Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales tactics. • Negotiate complex contracts and proposals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term partnerships. • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate leads. • Monitor sales performance metrics regularly; analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly. • Provide leadership in technical sales scenarios by understanding product specifications, demonstrating value propositions, and addressing client technical inquiries effectively. Experience • Proven success in sales roles with a track record of exceeding Automotive Sales Revenue targets. • Minimum of 10 years Management experience in Automotive Sale Supply Leadership roles. • Extensive management experience leading high-performing sales teams in fast-paced environments. • Strong background in Automotive business development with the ability to identify new opportunities and convert sales opportunities into Sales Revenue. • Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategies that support sales growth and brand positioning. • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for tracking sales activities and analyzing performance data. • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a strategic Automotive mindset to close complex deals effectively. • Solid understanding of technical products or services with the ability to communicate technical details to R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing clients. • Analytical skills capable of interpreting market data, customer feedback, and sales metrics to inform decision-making. • Exceptional leadership qualities with a focus on team development, mentorship, and fostering a customer-first culture. • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining professional integrity at all times.
