We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused individuals to join our team as On-Call Flight Booking Agents. This flexible position is ideal for those seeking work-life balance while providing essential booking and reservation services to our customers. Key Responsibilities • Assist customers with flight reservations, bookings, and itinerary changes via phone, email, and online chat • Process ticket purchases, cancellations, and refunds accurately • Provide information on flight schedules, fares, routes, and travel policies • Upsell additional services including seat upgrades, baggage, and travel packages • Resolve customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and efficiency • Navigate multiple computer systems to access customer records and booking information • Process payments securely and verify customer information • Meet or exceed key performance metrics including booking accuracy and customer satisfaction scores • Stay current on fare rules, policies, and promotional offers • Document customer interactions in company systems Qualifications Required: • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Must be at least 18 years of age • Authorization to work in the United States • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Reliable high-speed internet connection (for remote positions) • Quiet, professional home workspace (for remote positions) • Availability to work on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening Preferred: • Previous customer service or call center experience • Experience in travel, hospitality, or airline industry • Familiarity with booking systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or similar GDS platforms) • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus) • Associate's or Bachelor's degree • Sales experience Technical Requirements • Proficiency with Windows operating systems • Comfortable using CRM and ticketing software • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 35 WPM) • Ability to multitask between phone calls and computer systems
