This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Help us fundraise better! This volunteer will deliver practical coaching and ready-to-use materials to help the Executive Director and one volunteer fundraiser confidently ask individuals and small businesses for financial support. Deliverables may include conversational ask scripts, email/phone templates, a short rehearsal plan with role‑play prompts, and simple follow-up language. Stronger, clearer asks will help From Your Father secure individual and small-business gifts that directly support children and single moms. Volunteers’ coaching and materials will translate into more sustainable funding so the organization can be God’s hands and feet to the fatherless and relieve exhausted single parents. The Executive Director and the volunteer fundraiser will participate in coaching sessions and rehearsals. During interviews we will share current context and scheduling details. Volunteers will draft ask language, coach delivery, and run practice sessions so staff feel prepared to make real asks and follow up effectively. From Your Father Inc. Mission: Children without the support of their father face challenges that touch every part of life — from school to confidence to daily needs. Single moms are left doing double duty, often exhausted and overlooked. And many who want to help don’t know how to start. At From Your Father, we believe God Himself steps in as the Father to the fatherless — and He calls us to be His hands and feet.
