FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Flexible 1st shift 7 am to 5 pm with an on-call rotation every 4th week Shift Details: Holidays: no Weekends: no Job Summary: The Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) is responsible for assisting in the administration, maintenance, and support of Epic Client Systems servers and clients for Froedtert Health's Information Systems. Performing monthly updates and biannual upgrades using Epic Kuiper, Citrix PVS, monitoring Epic Client systems with Epic System Pulse. Work with team and Epic TS on support issues tracked in Sherlock and ServiceNow. Establish trends and capacity planning using System Pulse Analytics. Will be working with all Epic client applications but specifically assisting with current Interconnect and Hyperdrive end-point projects.. Candidates can be hired at 2 levels depending on their experience: Associate Level: A minimum of 2 years direct experience working as an Microsoft Windows Server Administrator, Citrix Virtual Apps OR VMware. In lieu of experience, formal training in one of these specialties is acceptable. Knowledge of computer/network principles at a level normally acquired through completion of an associate degree in a relevant technology field OR acquired through a combination of education and experience is required. Training : Microsoft Windows Server administration, IIS web servers, VMWare, Citrix Virtual Apps, Citrix NetScaler, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and a basic understanding of networking is preferred Licensure Preferred: ONE of the following certifications: Microsoft MCP or MCSA, Citrix CCA-V or CCP-V, CompTIA Server+, or vmware VCP. Career Level A minimum of 2 years direct experience working as an Epic Client Systems Administrator. Experience supporting Epic Client Systems with Microsoft Windows Servers, IIS, VMware, Citrix Virtual Apps including networking terminology and concepts, Microsoft AD, DNS, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Virtual Apps, and Citrix Netscaler is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of computer/network principles at a level normally acquired through completion of an associate degree in a relevant technology field OR acquired through a combination of education and experience is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Strong logical and analytical thinker. Attention to detail. Able to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions. Can anticipate risks and mitigate in the moment. Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fully utilizes standard required tool sets (ServiceNow, PWA, ITIL, etc). Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Epic Client Systems Administrator certification is required along with ONE of the following certifications: Microsoft MCP or MCSA, Citrix CCA-V or CCP-V, CompTIA Server+, or vmware VCP. Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $32.54 - $55.66. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
