Company Overview Forklift Operators are critical to our success at Frito-Lay! In this entry-level warehouse role, you’ll operate a forklift to move products, load and unload trailers, and manage inventory. Though you’ll start out as a Forklift Operator, this role can lead to long-term career growth within Frito-Lay or our parent company, PepsiCo. Role and Responsibilities • Operate a forklift safely after completing company-provided training and certification. • Load and unload pallets of product from trailers. • Store product in multi-tiered warehouse racks safely and efficiently. • Use handheld scanners and inventory control systems to manage warehouse inventory. • Pick cases accurately based on order specifications using required technology. • Complete general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, and trailer cleaning. Work Environment and Schedule • Facility operates 24/7 – must be willing to work off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Physical role: you’ll be on your feet for the entire shift and work in varied conditions. • May involve working at heights and in environments with extreme temperatures or loud equipment. Required Skills and Experience • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. • Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and climbing ladders/lifts for extended periods. • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry items repeatedly with or without accommodation. • Willingness to work in environments with slippery floors, high noise levels, or fluctuating humidity and temperature.
