Marketing & Communications Coordinator Hybrid-remote, based in Portland, Oregon Friends of the Children – Portland (FriendsPDX) is seeking a creative and strategic communicator to grow awareness and generosity for Portland’s youth. This full-time role blends digital marketing, storytelling, and campaign management to inspire community support. What you’ll do • Create content and campaigns across web, email, and social. • Develop print and digital materials that advance fundraising and community impact. • Track and share results to strengthen outreach. • Ensure brand consistency and inclusive messaging. What you bring • Strong writing and editing skills. • Experience in digital platforms, content creation, or communications. • Creativity, collaboration, and project management skills. • Commitment to equity and youth empowerment. Role details • Hybrid-remote: Requires in-office work at our Portland office. • Starting Salary: $68,319.49 - $71,079.09. • Benefits: Generous health, retirement, PTO, and wellness offerings. • This position is represented by FriendsPDX Union Network.
