The part-time Marketing and Communications Assistant focuses on creating compelling written and visual content to showcase Friends of Oakland Animal Services’s (FOAS) impact and increase community engagement. Responsibilities include capturing video footage and photos to produce content for various channels: social media platforms, email newsletters, website, print materials, etc. While this position is responsible for FOAS content, it requires close collaboration with Oakland Animal Services (OAS) to capture relevant photos and video footage. This position plays a key role in expanding FOAS’s reach by building awareness, visibility, and engagement, and inspiring community support for our lifesaving work.
