Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker and driver helper to join our warehouse team. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30am-11:00am. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will go on route with one of our drivers to deliver a large early morning order. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and efficiency in materials handling within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications. • Utilize equipment safely and efficiently for moving large items or pallets. • Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols. • Conduct regular quality control checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury when handling merchandise and building pallets. • Go on route with one of our drivers to deliver a large customer dark drop order. Skills • Experience with using pallet jacks • Experience building and wrapping pallets • Strong understanding of warehouse management practices and procedures. • Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques. • Ability to perform quality control checks to maintain high standards of accuracy. • Experience in stock management within a warehouse environment. • Capability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
