Senior Director of Sales & Operations Planning Work Location: US Based Remote – National Coverage Requirements: • 10+ years’ leadership experience with Food manufacturing • 7+ years’ experience leading a team that oversees Supply Planning within a Consumer-Packaged Goods Manufacturing Operations supporting multiple locations across the US Our Senior Director of Sales and Operations Planning will be an integral part of the FreshRealm Operations department connecting the strategic sales initiatives to the operational capabilities of the business to enable the continued growth of the business. This function is critical to ensure that operations are set up to support the expansion of existing customers and onboarding of new initiatives and capabilities. This person will work in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team, Operations, Business Development, and Account Management teams to ensure flawless execution of the business strategy. This role is ideal for a change agent and process-builder with deep S&OP expertise, who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is passionate about creating operational excellence. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES S&OP Strategy & Design • Lead the design and rollout of an integrated S&OP framework tailored to a growing and evolving business. • Develop and execute a roadmap for S&OP maturity, including short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives. • Define key process metrics (KPIs) and governance models to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Alignment & Leadership • Serve as the central point of coordination among Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure synchronized planning efforts. • Facilitate monthly executive S&OP meetings and influence senior stakeholders to drive consensus-based decisions. Systems & Tools Implementation • Lead the selection and deployment of enabling technologies and planning tools (e.g., demand planning, supply planning, IBP platforms). • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure successful system implementation, integration, and user adoption. • Standardize data and processes to improve forecast accuracy, visibility, and scenario planning. Change Management & Capability Building • Act as a change champion, driving cultural and behavioral change needed for successful S&OP adoption. • Build, develop, and mentor a cross-functional S&OP team as the process scales. • Provide training and tools to functional leaders and contributors to support S&OP best practices. Forecasting, Demand, and Supply Integration • Lead demand planning efforts with Sales and New Product Development and align supply capabilities with Operations and Supply Chain teams. • Ensure appropriate inventory targets are set and met, balancing service levels and working capital.
