Job Description Fresh Start Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our Am Law 50 law firm client for a Legal Billing Compliance Analyst. This is a full-time positionwith bonus eligibility, full benefits, and long-term career growthin one of the nation's top legal environments. The ideal candidate will have legal billing experience only. Those without law firm billing experiencewill not be considered. The client is highly selective and expects resumes to show job stabilityand relevant, long-term experience. Why You’ll Want This Role • Full benefits & bonus eligible • Work with a globally recognized law firm • Hybrid or remoteflexibility (must live near NYC or Boston) • Career path in legal billing, compliance, or legal operations • No nights or weekends What You’ll Do • Process legal bills accurately and in compliance with client billing guidelines • Audit matters and billing codes for compliance with internal and external requirements • Coordinate with timekeeping, pricing, conflicts, eBilling, and collections teams • Respond to billing inquiries from attorneys and clients • Work with systems including Elite, Intapp Open, and Intapp Time • Lead or support billing compliance and OCG audit projects Required Qualifications (Must Meet ALL to Apply) • 5+ years of legal billing experience (law firm only) • 5+ years of general accounting experience • 5+ years of financial systems experience • Proficiency in Elite billing software(REQUIRED) • Familiarity with WorkSite, FileSite, DeskSite, and Equitrac • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong understanding of legal accounting principles • Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred but strongly expected) • Resume must demonstrate long-term employment stability • Must be local to NYC or Boston– no exceptions Important Notes: • No visa sponsorship available • Candidates not meeting all of the above requirements will be automatically rejected • Resumes with excessive job hopping or unrelated billing experience will not be considered Screening Questions (REQUIRED to be considered): • What city are you currently located in? • Do you have 5+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm? • Are you proficient in Elite billing software? • What financial systems have you worked with? • Are you local to NYC or Boston metro area? • Type “I agree” to confirm you give Fresh Start Recruitment permission to submit you for this role.
