Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. The Store Manager will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience while achieving the store's financial goals. Duties • Supervise and train store staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. • Manage payroll and ensure accurate processing of employee hours. • Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve performance. • Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and reconciliation. • Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage ordering processes. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on store objectives and customer service standards. • Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Qualifications • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles. • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform retail math calculations accurately. • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. • Proficient in administrative tasks related to payroll, scheduling, and reporting. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers alike. • Experience in cash handling procedures and familiarity with cash register operations. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. • A passion for sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
