Position Overview The Project Management, Senior role will be part of the Risk Strategy Execution team within the Single-Family Acquisitions Credit Risk Management Division in McLean, VA. Our Impact The Single-Family Credit Risk Management Risk Strategy Execution team is responsible for partnering with business areas and their executive and management-level leadership in identifying, prioritizing, planning, delivering, and reporting on mission-based programs and initiatives. Your Impact • Support the Model Business Owner and team in implementing model priorities, and objectives • Plan and provide timely updates to all model deliverables that are part of regular reporting to senior management and others • Work closely with MBO/MDO teams and other stakeholders across 1st and 2nd lines to ensure regular follow-ups, tracking, reporting and escalation of all project activities • Deliver timely results for project initiatives and other ad-hoc activities • Support model exams, audits and findings in a timely manner • Identify opportunities to make project management more effective and efficient Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field with 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint • Ability to take ownership and collaborate with diverse group of partners • Proficient in MS Office – Microsoft PowerPoint, Document, Excel, Outlook, Project etc. • Proven ability to use data and analytics and apply it to inform on risk perspectives • Understand and use workflow tools to drive new/enhanced functionality for supporting controls monitoring and reporting • Preferred: Prior reporting and/or risk governance experience, knowledge of credit risk management and mortgage finance concepts Keys to Success in this Role • Critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail • Time management with a sense of urgency in meeting established deadlines and ability to work under pressure • Attention to detail with ability to think strategically and see the big picture • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and coordinate across all levels of the organization • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying issues, improvement opportunities • Adapt to change while continuing to deliver on assigned task We consider all applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, physical and mental disability, pregnancy, ethnicity, genetic information or any other protected categories under applicable federal, state or local laws. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $102,000 - $152,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
