At Freddie Mac, our mission of Making Home Possible is what motivates us, and it’s at the core of everything we do. Since our charter in 1970, we have made home possible for more than 90 million families across the country. Continue your career journey where your work contributes to a greater purpose. Position Overview: Join Freddie Mac’s Fraud & Financial Crimes team in the Single-Family division as a Product Owner driving the strategy, vision, and delivery of capabilities that protect the enterprise, our lenders, and our borrowers from evolving fraud and financial crime risks. In this role, you will shape the roadmap, translate complex risk and operational needs into clear product direction, and guide cross‑functional partners toward impactful, well‑designed solutions. We invite you to apply today and support our mission to #makehomepossible. Our Impact: As part of the Single-Family division, our team is at the forefront of designing, developing, and managing business applications that drive our mission objectives, enhance the seller journey, assess risk and investment quality of loans, and enable seamless loan delivery and post-delivery solutions. These efforts help increase market share and reduce risk for Freddie Mac. We are committed to innovation and excellence, continuously pushing the boundaries to achieve remarkable results. Your Impact: Define and champion a clear product vision for fraud detection, analytics, case management, and risk‑mitigation solutions. Translate fraud trends, investigator workflows, regulatory expectations, and operational needs into prioritized product features. Partner with technology, risk, QC, enterprise fraud, seller/servicer oversight, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, defensible solutions. Continuously analyze threats, performance metrics, and user feedback to refine strategy and improve product effectiveness. Connect strategy and execution, ensuring alignment across roadmap, delivery, and enterprise fraud‑risk objectives. Serve as a subject‑matter voice across Freddie Mac and the industry, offering thought leadership on modern fraud‑risk management. Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree, preferred. 10+ years of related product, risk, fraud, or operational experience; 2+ years influencing at a senior or managerial level. Strong experience working across matrixed organizations and steering cross‑functional delivery. Ability to convert complex compliance or fraud risk challenges into actionable product strategy. Proven ability to communicate vision, roadmap, and value clearly to diverse partners. Experience with operations systems and workflow; ideally within fraud detection, case management systems, analytics, or compliance technology a plus. Skilled in market analysis, trend identification, and modern product management practices. Keys to Success: Relentless curiosity about operational inefficiencies, fraud patterns, and emerging threats. Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical reasoning. Tenacity and resilience when navigating ambiguity. Empathy for investigators, analysts, and end‑users — ensuring product decisions solve real problems. We consider all applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, physical and mental disability, pregnancy, ethnicity, genetic information or any other protected categories under applicable federal, state or local laws. We will ensure that individuals are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation. Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs.
