Job Title: National Account Sales Assistant Department: Sales Reports To: VP Trade Sales Date: December 5, 2025 FLSA Status: Exempt The National Account Sales Assistant will run day-to-day administrative and operational tasks for Fox key accounts to ensure the smooth execution of publishing deals and account relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain and update sales databases, CRM systems, and account management portals with impeccable accuracy, ensuring that all data is current, complete, and secure. • Prepare and generate detailed sales reports, presentations, and dashboards using Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for management and the sales team. • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales trends, pipeline activity, and account performance, highlighting areas of opportunity and flagging potential issues for follow-up. • Support the preparation and delivery of sales presentation materials and client-facing documents (e.g. sell-in grids, competitive analysis, image needs, title info sheets, PowerPoint presentations), especially for Readerlink. • Coordinate with other departments (Editorial, Marketing, Production, Finance) to support the entire sales process. • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries, ensuring client satisfaction and timely issue resolution. • Monitor and review account portals for updates, orders, and communications, ensuring all deadlines are met and that any discrepancies or issues are addressed swiftly. • Assist sales team with low stock inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and sales forecasting, working closely with supply chain and production teams. • Support the organization of sales meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other events as required, including preparation of sales materials. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions based on data-driven insights. • Ensure all tasks are performed with the highest degree of accuracy, maintaining strict attention to detail at every stage of the sales process. • Oversee new client and item set-up to ensure data integrity. • Manage and track account co-op pools as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree • 3+ years of experience in a sales or business analysis environment. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas), PowerPoint (presentations, charts), Word (document preparation), and Outlook (calendar and email management). • Experience using Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation; ability to interpret and visualize complex data sets. • Familiarity with account management portals, CRM platforms and Edelweiss is highly desirable. • Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information, spot patterns, and draw actionable conclusions. • Meticulous attention to detail, with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and quality control. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive correspondence and reports. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver under tight deadlines. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Professionalism, discretion, and a positive, can-do attitude. • Energized by working in a fast-paced environment.
