What You’ll Do Career Catalyst helps organizations (Community Colleges, Non-profits, Workforce development boards and more) manage large, complex workforce programs with accuracy and efficiency. Career Catalyst is an employer of record (EOR) service that handles onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and day-to-day employee administration, ensuring clients and employees get timely support and a smooth experience. This allows our partners within the workforce development space to focus their resources and capacity and develop impactful programs of scale. Acting as a reliable operations partner, we combine HR and workforce expertise with practical, technology-driven processes to help keep programs running effectively. The Business Operations Specialist is a key member of the business operations team, focused on ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant workforce processes, while supporting an exceptional client experience. This role primarily drives operational excellence such as the onboarding and offboarding 5,000+ employees each year in providing high-level support to coordinators, overseeing the workflow to ensure hires are completed accurately and on time and serving as the point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and excels at problem-solving. They enhance efficiency and satisfaction by streamlining processes, enabling teams to perform at their best, and ensuring clients experience seamless, high-quality service. Implement & assist in planning of the Client Experience & Engagement Plan Lead the improvement of current client engagement activities including Communities of Practice, onboarding, training, check-ins, and site visits Operational Project Management & Delivery Apply project management methodologies to over see high-volume, high-risk workforce processes, including the onboarding and offboarding of ~4,000 employees Ownership of Systems, Data, & Continuous Improvement cycle Lead biannual regression testing and validation for Workday enhancements Track and analyze KPI’s Internal Collaboration & Capacity Building Lead internal professional development sessions Attributes for Success Minimum of three (3) years of experience in client-facing operations, workforce administration, HR operations or related fields Proficient in Workday CRM Skilled in Salesforce, including Builder and Case Management Experience in workforce development, community college systems, or nonprofit environments preferred. Experience with EOR, staffing operations, or regulated workforce environments strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range: $70,500.00 - $72,500.00 Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
