The Role We're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic, remote team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and improving our AI-powered platform, working across our entire tech stack to create efficient, scalable solutions that drive our mission forward. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain features across our full technology stack Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Implement security and data protection measures Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends Required Qualifications Strong experience with our tech stack: Svelte, Python, PostgreSQL (Neon), Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proven track record of building and shipping production-ready web applications Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices Meaningful experience building products in startup environments Strong collaborator, and highly effective in a remote environment Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines Bonus Experience with AI/ML technologies and integrations Familiarity with grant funding processes or impact-driven sectors (climate, healthcare, defense, and deep tech) Contributions to open-source projects What We Offer Competitive salary and equity package Remote-first work environment with flexible hours Opportunity to make a significant impact on crucial global issues Collaborative, innovative team culture Professional development opportunities and mentorship Comprehensive health benefits package Location & Engagement Our team is currently located coast to coast, in both the US and Canada.
