The Opportunity: Forum One is seeking a Backend Developer with experience with Craft CMS This opportunity is part-time. In this role, you will support the redesign and content migration of a public-facing website for a global advocacy campaign. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your deep understanding of software engineering principles and subject matter expertise to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement a Craft CMS 5 backend. • Define and implement the content model and content architecture. • Configure Craft CMS for optimal performance, security, and maintainability. • Develop custom Craft CMS modules or plugins as needed. • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API consumption. • Participate in project meetings and provide expert technical recommendations. • Ensure sites meet best practices for scalability, security, and accessibility. • Assist in scoping, estimation, architecture, and technology selection for solutions. • Deliver modern, scalable engineering solutions using industry-leading frameworks and tools. • Provide technical consultation to clients and internal teams. Requirements: • Proven experience delivering successful Craft CMS 5 projects. • Strong proficiency with PHP and modern Craft CMS plugin development. • Previous experience working on high-performance, content-heavy websites.
