Seeking a Technology Analyst to perform an intensive IT system analysis and gap assessment for LADWP, culminating in clear, actionable reports and recommendations to enhance technology systems and infrastructure. WORKSITE: Primarily remote; occasional onsite collaboration in Los Angeles, CA may be requested. WORK SCHEDULE: ~36 hours per week for ~3 months (Jan–Mar 2026). May be combined into one 6month role depending on project needs. PAY RATE: $115.00 per hour WHAT WE OFFER: • Paid sick leave based on state regulations after 90 days of employment • Medical, dental, and vision coverage after a waiting period (60% paid by Fortuna) • Free TeleMedicine and Mental Health support for all employees and their families • Additional voluntary benefits: Group Life Insurance, Accidental Insurance, Critical Care, Short-Term Disability WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Lead an indepth IT system analysis and gap assessment across prioritized LADWP platforms and processes. • Produce a currentstate assessment, gap analysis matrix, and prioritized remediation roadmap with timelines and owners. • Focus analysis on: New business for Water (Work Management Information System - WMIS), Customer program administration (Customer Connect), and processes/programs and supporting systems used by Water. • Translate findings into actionable recommendations to improve technology systems, integrations, data flows, and infrastructure for a large municipal water utility context. • Engage LADWP stakeholders to validate pain points, requirements, and success criteria; incorporate feedback into deliverables. • Deliver highquality written work products (status memos, executive summaries, and final reports) that are clear, concise, and evidence WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Strong handson experience with one or more of the prioritized domains: WMIS (Water new business), Customer Connect (customer program administration), and Water processes/systems. • Proven success conducting IT system analyses and gap assessments and converting findings into practical remediation recommendations for large municipal utilities or similar publicsector organizations. • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear reports (writing sample required). • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment, manage time effectively, and meet shortterm deliverable timelines. • Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, systems integration patterns, data governance, and change management is a plus.
