Location: Remote Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Employment Type: Full-Time What you can expect as the Supply Chain Risk Advisor at Fortress… As a Supply Chain Risk Advisor at Fortress, you will support our clients and enhance our supply chain risk management solutions. In this role, you will report to the Executive Vice President of Customer Success and serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, helping clients understand vulnerabilities across their supply chains and providing practical strategies to reduce risk. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure our solutions evolve to meet client needs and deliver meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will bring deep supply chain expertise, complemented by knowledge of risk and regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities Include • Help clients understand risks across their entire supply chain, from direct suppliers and their extended dependencies. • Identify exposures related to sourcing, logistics, distribution, and other critical supply chain functions. • Contribute to discussions on potential disruptions such as supplier insolvency, natural disasters, or geopolitical events. • Assess risks across multiple areas including operations, financial, regulatory, cybersecurity, and environmental. • Explain risk scoring models, heat maps, and other assessment results in ways that support decision-making. • Provide actionable recommendations for managing risks, such as diversifying suppliers or adjusting sourcing strategies. • Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry standards, including DOE, DHS, FERC, FDA, and ESG regulations. • Evaluate supplier resilience and business continuity plans to anticipate and mitigate disruptions. • Leverage available data, tools, and intelligence to strengthen risk assessments and provide early warnings. • Collaborate with client stakeholders and Fortress teams to align on supply chain risk priorities and action plans. • Share insights on global supply chain trends such as reshoring, decarbonization, or digital transformation. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in supply chain risk, third-party risk management, cybersecurity, or related fields. • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions and risk domains including operational, ESG, financial, cyber, and compliance. • Experience advising organizations in regulated industries such as energy, utilities, or defense. • Familiarity with risk assessment models and regulatory expectations for supply chain oversight. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences. • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders. • This role requires up to 10% travel. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as NIST, CISA, SCRM, DOE, FERC or ESG requirements. • Experience with supply chain risk management tools and data platforms. • Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, PMP, or CRISC are a plus. Education • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Risk Management, or a related field required. • Advanced degree preferred.
