Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics Fortis is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics reagents and solutions. We partner with our customers to design, validate, and manufacture solutions to solve their complex development problems. Our teams work together across various sites, functions, & scientific disciplines to help our customers bring their innovations to market with confidence. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics to support the achievement of strategic revenue goals across all business units. As an individual contributor, the position will advise and empower decision making by overseeing the collection and evaluation of sales data for accurate and useful reporting, creating leading indicators and KPI’s, and aligning processes and systems to provide timely and accurate information to key stakeholders. What You’ll Do: • Ensure accurate, effective, and timely reporting to meet the strategic needs of the commercial organization. This includes identifying and utilizing appropriate data sources, developing useful sales reports, monitoring the effectiveness of reports and other essential intelligence, and recommending revisions to assist in the development of, or addition to, reporting tools. • Extract and transform data from various sources, integrate data from multiple data sources and areas, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and update data as needed. • Use data to answer well defined business questions for the commercial organization • Study trends and patterns to align strategies with customer needs and market conditions, while reviewing anomalies to uncover meaningful insights. • Identify leading indicators and create key performance indicators (KPI’s). • Coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company to integrate data insights into broader strategic initiatives and support decision-making. • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel. • Provide training and guidance to the organization for reporting activities and support sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. • Manage processes and requirements for enabling technologies, such as CRM. This entails defining requirements with commercial team members, monitoring compliance with required standards to maintain integrity of data and working closely with Senior Leaders and commercial team members to optimize the effectiveness of the company’s technology investments. • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement, and sales and revenue reporting processes and tools. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or the Life Sciences. • 6+ years of similar analytical experience in commercial operations, data science, or a finance role within the life sciences or biotech industries. • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT to integrate data insights into commercial strategies. • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Hubspot, Excel, PowerBI, and d365. • Experience collecting, cleaning , combining, and verifying data for accuracy, making updates as necessary. • Experience writing queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex, technical information and insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to think critically and strategically, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Compensation and Benefits: Fortis provides a competitive salary, success-sharing bonus plan, medical, dental, disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
