Position Type: Elementary School Teaching Date Posted: 12/5/2025 Location: Elementary School No. 1 Date Available: 01/26/2026 Closing Date: 12/15/2025 Elementary Teacher of General Music and Instrumental Band Elementary School #1 Description: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Teacher of General Music and Instrumental Band for School #1. Qualifications: • Must hold a NJ Teacher of Music Certification. • Experience working with Elementary students. • Ability to teach instrumental band, required. • Knowledge of NJSLS. • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Location: Elementary School #1 Position Start Date: January 26, 2026 Working Conditions: Full time, permanent 10 month position, medical benefits and pension. Salary (prorated this year) range is $61,975 to $121,407, commensurate with education and experience as per negotiated contract. Application Procedure: All interested candidates must apply online. Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
