Bachelor’s degree with teacher licensure/certification or professional instructional experience in K-12 or higher education.
Those who serve in the position of Lead Teacher stand at the center of College Lift’s flagship program, Saturday Academy. Lead Teachers are responsible for delivering the primary instructional content within their area of expertise to a given grade level of College Lift scholars. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • Teacher licensure/certification and/or instructional experience at an accredited institution of higher education or professional instructional experience in a K-12 instructional environment Preferred Qualifications Essential Duties • Collaborate with High School/Middle School Academic Coordinator in the preparation of curriculum and materials for Saturday Academy instruction • Facilitate one to three 75 minute instructional sessions in science, math, or English Language Arts over the course of a given Saturday Academy • Provide direction to assistant teachers who will be present in each classroom to facilitate in the delivery of instruction • Complete post-instructional data management in collaboration with the High School/Middle School Academic Coordinator Physical Demands PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
